About Us

For 26 years, P-tec has been hands-on, value-added supplier and manufacturer of high-quality Light Emitting Diode and Liquid Crystal Display products. We are a small company headquartered in the town of Alamosa, Colorado, with an additional office in Denver. As a small company, we consider our relationship with both our employees and our customers to be integral to our growth and progression. We cultivate a sense of closeness and respect with each of our employees, and as such, many have been working at P-tec for over 10 years. We're pretty proud of this fact, and it helps us to ensure top quality and performance with every order we receive from customers.

Roger started P-tec in 1986 after immigrating to the United States from Switzerland. For over 25 years now, Roger's work has lead to a company that has seen steady growth in the industry every year since its inception. When he's not working, you can find him skiing in the Colorado high-country or riding his motorcycle. In both activities, he chooses to wear a helmet.

For over a decade, Angela has been the lifeblood of P-tec. From taking calls to entering POs, she makes sure we're firing on all cylinders. She enjoys keeping Roger on his toes by playing country music over her computer speakers. When she's not at the office you can find her taking care of her 3 kids, or watching her favorite NBA team, the Boston Celtics.

Marc has been involved with P-tec in some capacity since he was 16 years old, when he worked as an assembly tech during the summer in high school. Marc graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007 and has remained active in the Boulder/Denver community by mentoring at-risk youth. His passions are skiing, science, and CU Buffs football.

Jeff is a technical whiz who helps others at P-tec understand the nitty-gritty details of LEDs and LCDs. He's also responsible for designing our specification sheets and technical drawings. If you're looking at a data sheet with a P-tec part on it, chances are Jeff was the guy behind it. Did we mention he's also the nicest guy in the world?

As you can see, Basil is the company jokester. He keeps the smiles plastered on everyone's faces. And that's great and everything, but he's also the glue that keeps our entire assembly process held together. From the time a work order hits his desk, to the time a finished order is shipped out, Basil is the guy making sure the gears are all turning.
